A Huge Success

We’re thrilled to share that our very first Makers Market at Uckfield's Civic Centre, held on Saturday, 29th March, was an absolute hit! The event exceeded all our expectations, and we couldn't be more excited about how it turned out. Here’s a recap of what made the day so special!

27 Amazing Stalls
We kicked off the market with an incredible line-up of 27 talented local stallholders. From handcrafted jewellery, artwork, ceramics and handmade candles to bespoke clothing, there was something for everyone. It was truly inspiring to see so many creative people come together to share their work with the community.

Fun for the Whole Family
One of the standout features of the day was the children’s craft area. Little ones had a fantastic time creating their own masterpieces while parents could enjoy shopping at leisure. It was wonderful to see families getting involved and fostering creativity in such a fun, interactive way.

Perfect Sunshine and a Steady Stream of Locals
We were blessed with beautiful sunshine throughout the day, which set the perfect tone for a lively market. The warm weather attracted a steady flow of visitors, all eager to support local makers and find unique, one-of-a-kind items. Whether they were browsing for a special gift or treating themselves to something unique, the community showed up in full force, making it a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere.
